‘their wide awake blend does exactly what it says, it keeps you…wide awake’
Where it all began in 2005. More than a cafe, this is ST. ALi. Come as you are, we’ll take care of you. – ST. ALi
Home to Melbourne’s coffee connoisseurs, fitness enthusiasts from United Training Grounds (opposite the cafe) and crowds from South Melbourne market-goers
ST. ALi was founded by Mark Dundon in 2005 but was purchased by Salvatore Malatesta in 2008, who subsequently built it into the renowned coffee brand and cafe empire it is today. Malatesta is credited with being a pioneer of the specialty coffee movement in Australia, known for his focus on ethically sourced coffee and his work as a creative director.
Why may you ask is this coffee neurodivergent friendly?
The team at ST. ALi have truly hyper focused into the world of quality coffee. It’s not just their uber cool branding that makes them stand out, when you dive deeper below the surface. You can smell, feel and taste the passion and countless hours of perfecting a deliciously tasting cup of coffee. Their blends feature names such as Feels Good, Orthodox and a personal favourite, Wide Awake. It begs the question, how could you not want to sprint towards one of their blends when the dopamine hit is serenading you, which as a neurospicy is most likely very frequently…
